A foundation has been created to redistribute equitably the tax paid by people of Islamic culture living on Swiss territory.
The Swiss Zakat Foundation (legal alms in Arabic) was launched in early April. Its aim is to promote the local redistribution of this tax, which Muslims must pay, throughout the country.
